Lets take a quick look on the new Holosun 507Comp. Its identical with Holosun 507Comp Green, except of the color of the dot and reticle.
Holosun 507Comp uses the Trijicon RMR footprint standard. Any mounting device (plate or mount) with that footprint will therefore also allow you to use this red dot.
Manual
Lets go through all the functions you can run on your optic. You will operate all the functions through these two buttons on left side of the optics.
Power: on
Press either of the two buttons to turn it on.
Power: off
Press both buttons simultaneously.
Lock the current reticle settings
To avoid accidental settings change, press the plus buton for 3 seconds.
Change of intensity of the LED
Shortly press the plus or the minus button.
Minus button = less brightness | Plus button = more brightness.
Change of reticle
Hold the minus button for 3 seconds.
Adjust windage and elevation
For this you will need the adjusting tool that is in the box.
The turrent on the right side of optic elevates the dot.
The turrent from the top of the optic does the windage adjustment.
In both cases, one click = 1 MOA adjustment.

What are the unique features of this red dot?
Multi reticle system
This allows you to choose whether you want to use
- 2 MOA dot,
- variety of circles (8 MOA / 20 MOA / 32 MOA), or
- combination of circles and 2 MOA dot (8 MOA circle + 2 MOA dot / 20 MOA circle + 2 MOA dot / 32 MOA circle + 2 MOA dot / 32 MOA circle + 8 MOA circle + 2 MOA dot).
Shake awake technology
It makes the red dot deactivate automatically when not in use. And then activating it again automatically, whenever you pickup your gun.
As a consequence, this extends the battery life up to 50 000 hours (almost 6 years).
Nevertheless, I highly recommend getting new battery as soon as the red dot arrives - the factory battery can be drained right out of the box.
The red dot uses the CR1632 battery.
8 daylight & 2 night vision brightness settings
You can set up the brightness in 10 different ways - from low brightness to very strong brightness. You change it by shortly pressing the plus or minus buttons.
